LEAD BASED PAINT TRAINING

LEAD BASED PAINT TRAINING  TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2010   Monroe Street Conference Center, 2714 Graves Rd., corner of I-10 and Thomasville Rd. (formerly Marie Livingston's Steak House)   The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) extended the training/certification requirement for the RRP. The actual work practices requirements were NOT extended and are being enforced by the EPA regardless of if the contractor has received training or not. However, the extension of the training/certification was contingent upon the following:   Contractors MUST BE Registered for an RRP class by September 30 Contractors MUST TAKE the class by December 31, 2010 Click HERE to register for the training

SEEKING CONTRACTORS!! TALLAHASSEE URBAN LEAGUE HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM   The Tallahassee Urban League's Housing Rehabilitation Program rehabilitates low-income client homes in the City limits of Tallahassee.  The Housing Rehabilitation Program will rehabilitate fifteen (15) homes for FY2010.  The program can expend up to $33,750.00 to rehabilitate each home. The Tallahassee Urban League is currently looking for good licensed general or residential contractors to perform the rehabilitation work.  To qualify, please call 222-6111 and ask for Andy Curro' to secure your application today.  We will also need a copy of your current license, current insurance policy and certificate for Lead Based Paint Training.   Join the Tallahassee Urban League today to help make a difference in the lives of our low-income clients.
