Two exciting TBA events are on tap this week.

 

First, Frank Strubel and our friends at Kitchen Tune-Up are sponsoring theTBA's Remodelers Council luncheon on Wednesday (April 29) at 11:30 am at Old Town Café (1415 Timberlane Road). A roundtable discussion will be facilitated by Council Chairman Brandon Jett, CIP, of Jett Builders, and will cover a wide range of topics, including marketing your remodeling business operational efficiencies, and this year's Remodelers Showcase Awardscompetition. The luncheon is free to Council members and $12 for non-Council members.

 

Second, every TBA member is encouraged to enjoy our Hard Hat Happy Hour

set for Thursday (April 30) from 5:30 pm to 7 pmand hosted by TBA Past President Masoud Karimipour, CIP, CAPS, of Persica Homes at his spectacular Parade of Homes™ home located at 5791 Farnsworth Drive in the Bull Run community. The event includes drinks and snacks as well as a tour of the 4-bedroom, 3-bath 2,990 square foot home priced at $579,900. TBA members are invited to bring associates, friends and guests. By the way, the home will also be open for pre-Parade viewing on Saturdayand Sunday (May 2-3) from 2 pm to 5 pm. Directions: North on Thomasville Road, left on Kerry Forest, right on Farnsworth Drive, first house on the left. 

 

Looking ahead to May, opportunities for involvement and networking include the Parade of Homes on the weekends of May 9-10 and May 16-17 (Parade magazines are now available at local Publix Stores and the homes and sponsors are listed below); the Parade of Homes Awards Banquet onThursday, May 14 at the Hotel Duval; the May "We Want You!" Membership Drive where two competing teams are led by TBA Past Presidents Mark Worley, CIP, CAPS, GMB and Mark Trudeau, CIP, CAPS; and the Thursday, May 28 Hard Hat Happy Hour hosted by Centennial Bank (Thomasville Road location).

 

In addition, mark your calendars for our upcoming General Membership Meetings where excellent speakers and hot topics are on tap, including Greg Lane of Timberlane Appraisal on June 18; Leon County Administrator Vince Long on July 23; and Florida Home Builders Association President Jerry Linder on August 20.
