General Membership Meeting Notice (Thursday, October 22): Attention ALL TBA MEMBERS: You are cordially invited to attend this Thursday'sfirst Annual Associate Showcase (Table Top Display Trade Show) event to be held at the Holiday Inn and Suites (Graves Rd and I-10). 
This event feature displays from over 25 of our TBA members. Stop by to see the latest in products and services. Doors open at 11 and theluncheon/trade show is 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Lunch tickets are $20 pp and can be ordered online at tallyba.com/tba-events. 

We are so close to reaching our goal for the Builders Care - Raise the Roof Drive. If you have not donated yet please become a donor today.

So far we have raised $3,250 of the $5,000 goal. 

Mark Friday, October 30th at 11:30 on your calendars...and join us at theWelcome Home Celebration for the Colson Sisters. We will officially turn over the home with a ribbon cutting ceremony and and offer a tour of the home from Noon- 1 pm. This has been a 6-month project for our volunteers and a great community event so we are asking for all TBA members and our suppliers and volunteers to please plan to attend. Wear your Builders Care T-Shirts for group photos.

Membership - Our association is dependent on our membership. The TBA is participating in the NAHB October Membership Recruitment Month andWE NEED YOUR HELP. If every member spoke with one new company and encouraged membership our numbers would double. Membership applications are available for download on our website (tallyba.com) and we encourage you to always have one application in your truck. You never know when you meet a fellow housing professional if they share the same vision and mission as the association unless you ask. Join a membership team today or plan to attend one of two Membership Phone Drives: Wednesday, October 21 from 12:30 - 2 pm or Wednesday, October 28 12:30 - 2 pm.Both will be held at Hancock Bank on Mahan.

Showcase Home - Builders: Tom and Susan Vieth of Vieth Construction.
 
Our TBA Showhome will once again raise toys for the Toys for Tots organization this December when we open the home onDecember 11th for TBA Members andDecember 12-13 for the general public  
. Look for more information on this event in the coming weeks. 

Remodelers Council Meeting and Luncheon - Wednesday, October 28 at Old Town Cafe at 11:30 am. Roundtable Discussion. Showcase Awards Winners will be announced at the TBA's November General Membership Meeting. 

Parade of Homes - The Committee has begin soliciting for the 2016 Parade of Homes (May 7-8 and May 14-15). Click here for the Builders Package. EarlyBird Discounts are $1,550 for a single home and $1,350 each additional home. After January 15 rates are a flat $1,750 per home.  The KICK-OFF Parade of Homes Party will be held on January 14, 2016. Location and time to be determined. Our next committee meeting is: November 3 at 11:30 am at the Tallahassee Democrat Office. 

Reminder Notice: The TBA General Elections to the Board of Directors will take place during the November General Membership Luncheon and Meeting. Our Board of Directors slate of officers will be available at the October GMM (Associate Trade Show at the Holiday Inn & Suites). The TBA Board Ballots and a 2016 Proposed Budget will be mailed to all TBA members next week.

TBA would like all of our members to know about our advertising opportunities that allow the association to build a non-dues revenue stream. Many of these are for members only and are limited in the number of participants:

Homes and Land New Home Communities Map - Jackie Johnson of H&L will be reaching out to all members in regard to this new pull out map printed in each issue of the number one real estate magazine in our area.
2016 HomeShow Onsite Guide - This full color guide is handed out to all attendees at February's Home and Garden Show and is a keepsake book filled with the latest in trends. Interested in providing an article, please send to.
