 Friday, members of the TBA Builders Care Committee and many of our volunteers and suppliers attended the Official Key Exchange with the family. Sonny Phillips, General Contractor for the renovation, was able to walk through the completed home with 2 of the 3 sisters. The joy and surprise on their faces was far more than words can express.
Builders Care was started this past January as a means for the TBA to provide the elderly and disadvantaged in our community the opportunity to live in a safe and healthy environment. We invite all of our members to be involved and hope to look at future projects beginning in early 2016.
Over 40 companies and volunteers participated in the renovation of the Colson Residence and over the next few weeks we will be promoting each of the companies involved.
Much thanks to all of our donors, suppliers and volunteers.

 Attention TBA members:
The November General Membership Meeting set for November 19 is our Annual Business Meeting. Please note that the meeting will be the General Elections of the 2016 Slate of Officers and the approval of the 2016 TBA Budget.
The TBA staff will be emailing the 2016 Slate of Officers and Board of Directors plus our 2016 Proposed Budget to all members this week. If you have any questions or do not receive the forms via email this week, please contact Lynne Edwards, EO at 385-1414 or via email at .

 The Committee has begun soliciting for the 2016 Parade of Homes (May 7-8 andMay 14-15). Click here for the Builders Package. Early Bird Discounts are $1,550 for a single home and $1,350 each additional home. After January 15 rates are a flat $1,750 per home. TheKICK-OFF Parade of Homes Party will be held in January -Location and time to be determined.
Our next committee meeting is: December 1 at 11:30 am at the Tallahassee Democrat Office.

The TBA Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee began meeting last week and will meet on a bi-monthly basis over the next 6 months. Meetings have been moved to Buffalo Wild Wings located on Magnolia Drive across from the Winn Dixie Shopping Plaza.

- Homes and Land New Home Communities Map - Jackie Johnson of H&L will be reaching out to all members in regard to this new pull out map printed in each issue of the number one real estate magazine in our area.

Thank you to the hard working membership committee for their dedication to build our membership. Last spring this same group won the NAHB membership drive netting the TBA over 50 new members. This Fall our drive was smaller but we are proud of the efforts these members made and the new members who will be officially approved at the next board meeting.
