Many thanks to the Florida Home Builders Association for hosting our lunch meeting with Congresswoman Gwen Graham (representing FL's 2nd  District) last week. Calling all Members...We REALLY Need Volunteers! Our Builders Careproject continues to need help from our membership. Thank you to the Capital City Roofing and Sheet Metal Association (CRSA), Rhett Hartsfield of Hartsfield Roofing; Ralph Davis ofStreamline Roofing and Tech Thomas of Roof-n-Ready LLC for their donation of volunteers who will help install a new roof on the Colson Project.  Independent Green Technologies will host this week's Green Building Council Luncheon and Meeting at their headquarters on Pensacola Street (3954 W. Pensacola) on Thursday, September 11thfrom 11:30-1 pm. Lara Kuleshova, Chair of the Green Building Council invites members to attend and learn more about green building techniques and the latest in products or services.

Be Involved...Become a Volunteer...Call Today to Join A TBA Committee! TBA members and their employees are encouraged to serve on a variety of committees. Our current active committees include: Builders Care(charitable committee); Parade of Homes; Showcase Home (annual home built in December); Fishing or Golf Tournament; Clay Shoot (we are getting ready to get this committee up and running!); Education; Membership, Governmental Affairs; Sponsorship; Communication/Public Relations and N. FL. Home Show. In addition to our committees we have 2 councils: Green Building Council and Remodelers Council which both meet monthly and welcome new members. Many members have expressed an interest in an Emerging Leaders group and Professional Women's Council.
