The Senior Officers and TBA wish each and every member a plentifulThanksgiving Holiday!
As I approach the final week of my year as your president, I would like to thank everyone for their membership into this great organization and for the many members who took time over the past year as a volunteer on a committee or a council. Our special events and fundraisers cannot happen without volunteers.
Your membership is very important to the TBA but we want you, the member, to also see the benefit of networking throughout the year. The best way to get the most from your membership is to get involved. That includes attending our monthly general membership meetings that feature timely topics and interesting speakers or our Hard Hat Happy Hours where members make and maintain value business contacts.
In December, we have two events that I hope to see many new faces at! On December 3rd (Hotel Duval) we will install longtime TBA memberLarry Wayne Strickland of Capital City Builders as your 2015/2016 President and then on Friday, December 11th at 5:30 pmthe TBA will host our Holiday Hard Hat Happy Hour at the Showcase Home built by Vieth Construction. Once again, a special Thank You for your support and encouragement this past year. It has been a great year for the association with housing moving in a positive direction; our community outreach program- Builders Care- completing their first project for three elderly sisters and our volunteer committees who brought the fun back to the TBA with events such as the Saltwater Fishing Tournament.
Have a great Thanksgiving and I hope to see everyone next week at our Installation Banquet.
