members donating time, money and supplies, we will be moving the family into the home by November 5th. Look for information next week, but place Thursday, November 5 at 11:30 am on your calendars. We plan to have family, friends, and all of the TBA members in attendance as we have a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially hand over the keys. TBA members, please plan to be there at this first Builders Care community project. It is so important that we show support to the builders and volunteers that have dedicated more that 5 months to this project and that we honor them by touring the home prior to the family receiving the keys.

Last week, the Colson Home was in dire need of shower doors (ADA accessible) and TBA member Ross Little of Glass Pro Shop, LLC not only stepped up with his time but with the entire donation for both bathrooms. We cannot thank our members enough and we know words alone cannot express the gratitude that this family will have celebrating their first holiday together in 10 years. This past week the Green Building Council conducted a LIVE Blower Door
Test demonstration at TBA Builder Member Richard Sneed's Lonesome Dove Lane new home located in Tallahassee Trails. The test was in conjunction with an educational Energy Efficient CEU course taught by TBA member Jane Conn of ES Green & Company.Attendees were able to watch the blower door test live and then walk through an additional house under construction in order to see the materials and construction needed to meet the test.

Bird Discounts are $1,550 for a single home and $1,350 each additional home. After January 15 rates are a flat $1,750 per home. The KICK-OFF Parade of Homes Party will be held on January 14, 2016. Location and time to be determined.
Reminder Notice: The TBA General Elections to the Board of Directors will take place during the November General Membership Luncheon and Meeting. Our Board of Directors slate of officers will be available at the October GMM (Associate Trade Show at the Holiday Inn & Suites). The TBA Board Ballots and a 2016 Proposed Budget will be mailed to all TBA members next week.
