Issue: # 45 Nov 17-2015  

This Thursday, the TBA's General Membership meeting and luncheon will be our annual meeting of the membership and we invite all members to attend. During the meeting we will be voting on the 2016 Slate of Officers and approval of our 2016 Annual Budget. 
 
In addition to the election of our incoming board, the GMM will also have a presentation of the 2015 Remodelers Council Showcase Award Winners. The luncheon will take place at the Holiday Inn & Suites on Graves Road at 11:30 am. 
 
The 25th Annual North Florida HomeShow will be held February 12-14 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. Please note that their are ONLY 14 BOOTHS LEFT. We encourage our members to use this venue as a means to reach the general public. Last year over 4,000 visitors attended the event and this year the show is selling out. General Membership Notice               

Attention TBA members:

 

The November General Membership Meeting set for November 19 is our Annual Business Meeting. Please note that the meeting will be the General Elections of the 2016 Slate of Officers and the approval of the 2016 TBA Budget.

 

In addition to the business portion of the GMM we will  announce the winners of the 2015 Remodelers Council Showcase Awards.

The 2015 Builders Care Program was created to provide the elderly and disadvantaged homeowners with minor repairs or upgrades that they cannot afford to do on their own. Our first project - theColson Residence - brought together 3 sisters (92,94 and 97) to their family home after living apart for the last 15 years. We ask that our members continue to support the efforts of Builders Care by making a donation. These donations will allow the committee to continue to find projects in our community and help TBA make a difference in the lives of our residents. Click here to make a donation.

The Committee has begun soliciting for the 2016 Parade of Homes (May 7-8 andMay 14-15).  Click here for the Builders Package. Early Bird Discounts are $1,550 for a single home and $1,350 each additional home. After January 15 rates are a flat $1,750 per home.

The KICK-OFF Parade of Homes Party will be held in January -Location and time to be determined.

Our next committee meeting is:  December 8 at 11:30 am at the Tallahassee Democrat Office.              
  
Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee Meeting  
The TBA Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee beganmeeting last week and will meet on a bi-monthly basis over the next 6 months.

Just a reminder that this month's general membership meeting is our Annual Meeting of the Membership and we encourage all of our TBA members to attend and participate in the voting of our incoming Slate of Officers. This is time to come and meet your officers and to start planning  how to increase your visibility within the association by getting involved. We welcome all members to consider joining a committee and/or a council and help make 2016 the best year ever.
